Explore the sample project

The fastest way to understand Ngenaire is to see a real program in it. The sample project — Autonomous Ground Vehicle (Sample) — is a pre-populated project created just for you, so every workspace page shows realistic content instead of an empty state.

What's inside

  • Requirements — six numbered sections (perception, navigation, safety, connectivity, HMI, cybersecurity) with priorities, statuses, and EARS-style wording.
  • Risk register — technical, schedule, cost, and programmatic risks with probability/impact scoring and mitigation plans.
  • Verification — an approved test plan, a test case per requirement, recorded executions (pass/fail/blocked), and RVTM traceability links.
  • Schedule — a Gantt plan with dependencies, PERT three-point estimates, a milestone, and phases in different states of completion.
  • Trade studies — two Pugh studies: one carried through weight lock, scoring, and a recorded decision; one still in Draft.
  • ConOps — an approved Concept of Operations document.
  • Diagrams — a context-level data flow diagram and a UML sequence diagram.
  • Project memory — pinned decisions and constraints the AI assistant reads for context.

How to open it

  • From the Getting started checklist (bottom-left of the workspace), choose Explore the sample project, or
  • From the Dashboard or Projects page when you have no projects yet, click Explore the sample project.

The project is created in your personal organization the first time you ask for it (it takes a few seconds to build), and the same project is reopened on later clicks.

Good things to try

  1. Open the Dashboard and read the project brief.
  2. Open Requirements → Quality Analysis and run an analysis.
  3. Open the RVTM to see requirement-to-test traceability, including a failed and a blocked execution.
  4. Ask the AI assistant for a project health check.

It's yours to break

The sample project is a normal project owned by you: edit anything, delete artifacts, or delete the whole project from the Projects page. If you delete it and want it back, the Explore the sample project action will build a fresh copy.
