Notifications
The notification center is where Ngenaire tells you what is happening that involves you — assignments, mentions, status changes, and other events. The bell icon in the top bar carries an unread badge; clicking it opens your notifications. The full page is at /notifications.
What a notification looks like
Each notification has a short title and message describing what happened, a timestamp, and a read state (unread items stand out). When a notification points at a specific artifact, opening it takes you straight there.
Common actions
- Open the inbox. Click the bell in the top bar, or go to
/notifications. - Read an item. Click a notification to mark it read. If it links to an artifact, you jump there at the same time.
- Mark all read. Use Mark all read to clear the unread badge without removing the items.
- Delete. Remove individual notifications you no longer need.
The unread count in the bell badge updates as you read or clear items.
Walkthrough
- Click the bell in the top bar — the badge shows how many unread notifications you have.
- Scan the unread items at the top.
- Click an item to read it and, when it is linked, jump to the affected artifact.
- When you are caught up, use Mark all read to clear the badge.
